On February 1st during the morning service Rev Stephen Levett addressed the subject of climate change and considered the possible biblical basis for being concerned and taking action. He acknowledged it is a subject that some are still unconvinced about both from a scientific and a theological perspective, as well as something we sometimes feel overwhelmed by where we are unsure about exactly what a person might usefully do if they wished to respond. Here are a few places you might begin in order to carry reflection and action further:
Further reading and reflection:

This significant report presented at the 2009 Methodist conference has been produced in booklet form for study throughout the wider church. Sign up for a copy on the sheet available at church. -Try to apply the handy little saying in terms of your use of material things of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
-Use the council recycling bin as asked.
- Collect and place aluminium cans in the box at church.
- Do the energy audit your gas/electric supplier keeps inviting you to take.
- Share a lift to church or walk
