Minister with responsibility for Five Ways, Upper Gornal and Lake Street until July 2010
Steve has a busy life - with three churches to look after he's also a school chaplain at Ellowes Sports College and visits regularly in the local junior schools too. He's married to Louise and, just to keep him out of mischief, they have three children.
Steve moved on to a new appointment in Bromsgrove and Redditch at the end of July 2010. He is succeeded by Rev Yvonne Haye. Watch this space..

Steve is the Superintendent minister, meaning he has an overall leadership responsibility for the life of the circuit. He also has particular oversight of Himley Road and Zoar Methodist Churches. He has run several half marathons and rides a motorbike (though not at the same time!) Steve is married to Kate and they have two children.

Bill Caldwell
Bill's role is as Church and Community worker. He serves in the Gornal Methodist Churches in a range of ways. He is the senior member of the Chaplaincy Team at Ellowes Hall Sports College, and preaches and teaches around the local churches. He is married to Helen and has 3 grown up children and 5 grandchildren who keep him on his toes!
Julie Swann
Julie Swann
Julie is working with families and children within the church and community, focussing particularly on the areas of Gornal Wood and Lower Gornal. She is married to Steve and they have a son and daughter. Julie grew up in the East Midlands before moving to Blackpool in 1997. Since then the family lived in Coventry and Bognor Regis before moving to Birmingham where Steve is now a student minister. Julie has been involved in family and children's work for many years and thoroughly enjoys it - especially play times!!
